It's Christmas in Pecan Bayou, Texas. Join Betsy (aka The Happy Hinter) for a good old small-town Christmas complete with Christmas carols, over the top light displays, delicious food, loving friends and…a Christmas Creeper. One of the residents of Pecan Bayou has a secret and you'd better lock the door because that isn't Santa out there or even a stray elf. Enjoy spending Christmas with the town and family you've come to know in the Pecan Bayou Series.
Recipes and helpful hints included!

What I Thought:

It was nice to visit Pecan Bayou again, it has been a while since I visited.  I really enjoy reading this series and this one did not disappoint.  I like to read Christmas themed cozied at this time of the year and this one was a great Christmas themed cozy with good descriptions of all the festivities and traditions.  Betsey and her family are getting ready for the Christmas Celebration when there are a rash of burglaries, including the mail, and also a murder.  On top of judging light displays finding recipes and tips for her "Happy Hinter" column, Betsey has to help her dad, the police chief, solve these crimes before they ruin Christmas for everyone.  Again this was  a well written book that flowed well.  I really like the family dynamics of this series and how close Betsey is with her family and friends. The characters are all well written and very likable.  I look forward to more in this series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book.
